Ayesha Pande

Ayesha Pande grew up on three different continents, which may be why she’s especially drawn to voices that cross borders—cultural, emotional, and political.

She founded APL in 2007 after a career in publishing, most recently as a senior editor at Farrar, Straus and Giroux.

When not immersed in the next great literary voice, she can usually be found pottering in her garden or walking in the woods with her dog.
