Juliet Pickering

Juliet worked for Waterstones before joining the agency A P Watt, in 2003.

She represents a wide range of non-fiction writers including narrative writing on relationships, pop culture, social history and food, and a small number of cookery and other illustrated books.

She is committed to broadening the books she's publishing to include everyone, and is a feminist who celebrates books that empower women.

She's drawn to rich and multi-layered stories of women, families, friendships and relationships, and loves close communities with lots going on beneath the surface.

She prefers the small and intimate to the epic and world-affecting.
