Ron is a literary agent and co-owner of CookeMcDermid and a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Master of Publishing program.
A twenty-nine year veteran of Canadian publishing, he worked with Penguin Canada, Westwood Creative Artists, and Random House of Canada before joining CookeMcDermid in 2009.
He co-owned Cooke International until the end of 2021.
He is particularly drawn to dark fiction in horror, SFF, suspense, and psychological thriller and to non fiction in pop culture, music, pop science, and story driven current affairs.
