Dorie Simmonds

Dorie Simmonds, literary agent, has worked in the publishing industry and has experience on both sides of the Atlantic.

She has worked within publishing houses, is a published author and knows every aspect of the publishing world.

Her tastes are as versatile as her experience, and she will consider material from any genre except reference books, children’s picture books, religious texts, poetry, screenplays, novellas or short story collections.

Dorie studied at Vassar College and The London School of Economics and has worked at William Morrow & Company and Dell Publishing in the US, as well as Dorling Kindersley and Reed Children’s in the UK before opening her Agency.
