Gemma Cooper has been a literary agent since 2011 and served as a director at The Bent Agency before founding Gemma Cooper Literary in 2024.

She represents bestselling and award-winning authors whose work has achieved #1 New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller status and won Barnes & Noble Children’s Book Award, Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, and the Australian Book Industry Overall Children’s Book of the Year, with titles shortlisted for the Edgar Award and the Carnegie Medal.

Her list focuses on big-concept, commercial series fiction, and she enjoys championing unpublished books through to publication.
