Gina Maccoby

Gina Maccoby is a New York literary agent who represents adult and children’s authors in literary and upmarket fiction and narrative nonfiction.

Captivated by unique voice and strong storytelling, she seeks fresh perspectives, memorable characters, and stories with heart across genres.

Her nonfiction interests include history, biography, current events, long-form journalism, and popular science.

Gina served four terms on the Board of Directors of the Association of Authors' Literary Agents, sits on its Royalties and Contracts Committees, and is a long-time Authors Guild and SCBWI member.

She established her own agency in 1986 after working at Russell & Volkening and graduated with honors from Harvard College.
