Kristin Ostby (she/her) began her publishing career in 2004 as an editorial intern at Penguin Random House, subsequently becoming a children’s book editor there and, later, at Simon & Schuster, where she edited New York Times best sellers and award winners.
She moved to the agenting side of the desk in 2021, joining SLM in 2025.
