After a few years away to take care of her family during the pandemic, she is returning to publishing with a renewed focus on marginalized voices.
As a reading teacher at a Title-One campus in San Antonio, Texas, she works with at-risk youth, hosts a monthly book swap, and was motivated to return to agenting to increase accessible books featuring Latinx and diverse characters.
