Lewinsohn Literary Agency was founded by Becky Thomas in 2021.
She began in publishing after a temping job at Faber & Faber following an English Literature degree.
She spent four years in the Rights Department handling Estates and unagented poets, then became Contracts Director at Abner Stein before moving to WME where she grew her author list and programmed festival literary tents.
After early deals including Viv Albertine’s "Clothes Music Boys" and Kae Tempest’s "Hold Your Own," she joined Fox Mason in 2013.
Johnson & Alcock acquired Fox Mason in 2015.
She was named Literary Agent of the Year at the 2022 British Book Awards.
