Mara Cobb

Mara grew up reading Junie B Jones Nancy Drew the Bobbsey Twins Little House and Little Women and often seeks books with strong feisty protagonists redemptive antagonists and surprising plot twists that keep readers up late.

She began interning at Martin Literary Management in February 2022 became a junior agent there in September 2023 and joined Lighthouse Literary in 2025.

By day she teaches at a nearby community college and drafts stories of her own.

She lives on a family farm where she bakes crafts plays piano and fiddle and cares for dogs cats goats horses and chickens while enjoying travel iced coffee cheesy rom coms and reality TV.
