Lauren Galit

Lauren Keller Galit began agenting in 2002 at John Boswell Associates, where she learned to develop books from concept through design and production.

Before becoming an agent she spent ten years as a magazine editor at GQ and Good Housekeeping, where she honed editing and copyediting skills.

She works closely with writers to craft ideas and manuscripts and then connects with editors to sell projects she has passionately developed.

Known for being collaborative and deeply involved in a book’s world, she helps authors envision what their books could be and polishes manuscripts until they are “just so".
