Sarah Lutyens launched Lutyens and Rubinstein with Felicity in 1993 after a career in bookselling at Heywood Hill the Literary Review and various publishing rights departments.

She opened the L&R bookshop in 2009 and continues to work with the independent Australian publisher Text selling UK rights in their range of fiction and nonfiction.

She reads crime fiction obsessively but has eclectic taste across literary fiction and thought provoking nonfiction.

She focuses on her existing clients and the business while still occasionally taking rare projects that excite her.
