Elisa Saphier

Elisa discovered a passion for books early and built a career around them, working in libraries and bookstores, serving as editor-in-chief of her high school literary magazine, and eventually opening and running a bookstore.

She became known as a champion of local writers and small publishers, focused on community building, and works toward equity in publishing while co-launching a nonprofit in 2022 to support writers' career development.
