Rubin Pfeffer

Rubin Pfeffer founded RPC in 2014 as the natural extension of his 40-year career in publishing.

He began as a designer at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich and spent 30 years there in roles including art director, editor in chief, and president.

In 2001 he became Pearson’s chief creative officer, then moved to Simon & Schuster Children’s Books as vice president and publisher in 2003.

In 2009 he became an independent agent at East West Literary Agency before founding RPC to work closely with authors and illustrators, strengthening and nurturing their work.
