Robert Mackwood

Robert Mackwood is Director and Principal Agent of Seventh Avenue who purchased the agency in 2005 from Contemporary Communications Vancouver and who has represented authors as a literary agent since 1997.

He is a long-time Toronto and Vancouver publishing veteran who spent eight years in Toronto as Vice President Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Bantam Doubleday where he organized publicity tours for high profile authors and served on the Board of Directors at Seal Books.

His publishing career began as a publicist with Raincoast Books and the Stanton & MacDougall agency in Vancouver where he organized media tours for major Canadian authors.

He previously worked in broadcast as a host and producer of radio programs.
