Rosemary Stimola

Rosemary Stimola has worn many hats in her more than thirty years of professional life, all centered on books for children and young adults.

Her first career was as a PhD linguist teaching language and literature at the City University of New York, specializing in children's literature.

Her second career was as the owner of A Child's Story, an independent bookstore in Teaneck, NJ, which earned her the Lucile Micheels Pannell Award from the National Women's Book Association.

Given her experience as an educator, bookseller, and literary agent, she has become one of the most sought-after speakers at writer and illustrator conferences throughout the United States and abroad.
