Heather joined The Friedrich Agency in March of 2018.

Heather seeks writers driven by curiosity and discovery, whether through formal inventiveness in fiction or rigorous investigative journalism.

She is often drawn to poets turned prose writers whose dexterity with language articulates emotions or sensibilities previously unnamed.

Raised amid fog and mossed forests, she loves moody atmosphere and setting-as-character and does not shy away from the fantastical in literary and upmarket fiction.

She particularly enjoys genre elements used to explore where language fails.

Her goal is to build a list reflecting a full range of perspectives from the USA and around the globe.
