Marisa Cleveland

Marisa joined The Seymour Agency in 2009 as an author, and in 2017, she embraced the laptop lifestyle, earned her doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Northeastern University, and signed her first picture book author in the summer of 2020.

Between then and 2025, she served as the agency’s executive director.

She’s looking for manuscripts she can’t put down until the last page and can’t stop discussing with random strangers in bookstores.

Voice is key for her, and she wants to find her best friends and partners-in-crime protagonists long after the story ends, whether it’s in this world or an alternate universe.
