Evan Brown is a literary agent and member of the International Rights Adult Lit Division at Transatlantic Agency.
He has worked in publishing since 2012, joining Transatlantic in early 2019 after roles in marketing for MIRA and Inkyard Press, and experience as an acquisitions reader, freelance editor, proofreader, and copyeditor.
He holds an MA in 18th-century history and literature from the University of York and a BA in Early Modern Studies and English from Dalhousie and The University of King’s College.
At Transatlantic he represents culturally significant nonfiction, captivating literary debuts, and select children’s titles, and handles international translation rights for Page Two Books and Drawn & Quarterly (with Sam Haywood).
