Caitlin O’Shaughnessy

Caitlin O’Shaughnessy joined The Book Group in 2024.

She was previously Vice President and Associate Publisher at Henry Holt & Co where she oversaw marketing and publicity and worked with authors on brand strategy, promotion, and platform development.

Prior to Macmillan she spent over a decade at Penguin Random House, beginning her career at Viking acquiring fiction, nonfiction, memoir, and lifestyle books and later moving to marketing at Penguin Press.

She completed an MBA at NYU Stern and holds a dual degree in English and French Literature from Wesleyan University.
