Tilda Butterworth

Rebecca Carter is assisted by Tilda Butterworth, who came to a job in publishing through her studies in Modern Foreign Languages, specifically a Joint Honours BA in French and Russian.

Tilda was a tumbleweed at Shakespeare and Company in Paris and has served as the Editor of The Cult Collective, an independent literary and visual arts magazine based in London and Berlin, for the past six years.

She is looking for unusual stories, grounded in the real world but with strange and surreal elements, with a focus on human relationships, queer characters and alternative culture.

Above all she is searching for diverse and unexpected perspectives which offer new ways of seeing and have something urgent to say about the contemporary world.

She seeks to always be surprised by what she is reading.
