Sophie spent several years as a bookseller and book buyer on London’s Charing Cross Road before moving to New York to spend three years as an assistant at Janklow & Nesbit.
They returned to London to start their own list at Tibor Jones & Associates, then joined C&W in 2013, becoming Director and later Managing Director.
They were shortlisted for Agent of the Year in 2019.
The authors they represent have been nominated for or won prizes including the Booker Prize, the Costa Book of the Year, and the Dylan Thomas Prize.
They work closely editorially with authors to guide books from ideas through to publication.
