Sarah Williams is from Vancouver, Canada and began her publishing career in publicity and editorial in Canadian publishing before joining Ed Victor in 2010 to build her list.

In 2014 she joined the Sophie Hicks Agency and is now a director.

She represents a wide range of authors in fiction and non-fiction across genres including food, lifestyle, personal development, popular science, travel, sport, nature, and memoir.

Her authors have been UK and global bestsellers and had books optioned and adapted for film and television.

Named a Rising Star by The Bookseller in 2016, she holds a PhD in English literature, graduated from Columbia University's publishing program, serves on the faculty of the Columbia Publishing Course at Oxford (Exeter College), and runs the agency’s film and television rights.
